EWH Lamp post

Edinburgh World Heritage is now based at Acheson House in the Canongate.

EWH and the City of Edinburgh Council were responsible for raising the funding to refurbish the Nelson Monument and the time-ball.

In addition to restoring the city's historic buildings, EWH in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council plan to erect a Victorian lamp post behind Greyfriars Bobby’s drinking fountain in March.

EWH is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. This means that anyone making a donation to EWH at www.thebiggive.org.uk, the gift, whatever the size, could be doubled.

Your donation will help EWH to look after the city's architectural treasures such as St Bernard’s Well overlooking the Water of Leith.

The classical building, based on the design of the Temple of Vesta at Tivoli, is over 200 years old and is now in urgent  need of repair.
