Sarah Boyack MSP will present the winners of the One o’Clock Gun Children’s Painting Competition with their book tokens and certificates of merit at the One o’ Clock Gun Exhibition, Mills Mount Battery, Edinburgh Castle on Friday.

The standard of the artwork was very high and John Fardell the Edinburgh-based writer-illustrator had a hard job picking the winners.

This week’s photo shows the illustration drawn and painted by Jing Zohng a pupil at Sciennes Primary School, Edinburgh.

Sarah chose Jing’s artwork for her Christmas card which will be sent from the Scottish Parliament this month.
